Sueey Gutierrez is a New York based artist who was born in Brooklyn and started painting at the age of three. At the age of six, Sueey won a scholarship to study at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. At eight, she received the New York City Transit Authority Award. As a result of that award, Sueey's work was displayed on subway cars and received widespread exposure in New York City. Since then her work has been displayed in libraries, hospitals, schools, and private collectors' homes throughout New York City and Long Island. Recently, she exhibited at the Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery of Nassau Community College, and she received a Award Of Excellence in the Art Student Competition of 2011. In addition, she had a solo exhibition in Williamsberg, Brooklyn, and Great Neck New York.
Sueey has a BA from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing a Master Of Fine Arts.
